Creamy Cheese Grits


INGREDIENTS

  • -3 cups water
  • -1 (12 fl.oz.) can PET® Evaporated Milk
  • -1 cup Jim Dandy® Iron Fortified Quick Grits
  • -3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • -2 ounces cream cheese
  • -1 to 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
  • -1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • -1/2 to 3/4 teaspoons garlic powder
  • -1 teaspoon salt or to taste

INSTRUCTIONS


BRING water and evaporated milk just to a boil in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add grits. Cook according to package directions.
REMOVE pan from heat. Stir in cheddar cheese, cream cheese, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and salt until cheese melts. Serve immediately.
