Seven-Layer Salad

Ingredients
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, 
cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup (125 ml) scallions
  • 1 green pepper
  • ¾ cup (175 ml) frozen peas, thawed
  • ½ cup (125 ml
) mayonnaise mixed with 2 tsp (10 ml) sugar
  • ¾ cup (175 ml) cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
Instructions
  1. In a large salad bowl (preferably clear!) arrange in layers as follows: lettuce at the bottom, then scallions, green pepper, frozen peas, mayonnaise and cheddar cheese. Top with bacon.
  2. Toss only before serving.
