Boneless pork chops are quick and easy to prepare with a tasty seasoned orange sauce. Serve boneless pork chops with your favorite rice side dish and sliced tomatoes or steamed corn.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • canola oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup or Lyle's Golden Syrup
  • 4 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

Preparation:

Put enough canola oil in a large skillet to coat the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper; dredge with the flour. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat; add pork chops and brown for about 5 minutes on each side. Add the sliced onions and cook for 2 to 3 minutes longer, or until onions are lightly browned. Combine the remaining ingredients and add to the pork chops. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until pork chops are tender. Serve with rice or potatoes.
Serves 4.
