Old Bay Shrimp Fest Recipe

Ingredients:


1/2 cup Old Bay Seasoning
2 Tbsp. salt
2 qts. water
2 can (12 ounces) beer (optional)
8 medium red potatoes, cut in quarters
2 large sweet onions, cut in wedges
2 lbs. lean smoked sausage, cut in 2-inch lengths
8 ears of fresh corn, broken in half
4 lbs. large shrimp in shells




Directions:


1. Bring Old Bay© seasoning, salt, water and beer to boil in 8 to 12 qt. pot. Add potatoes and onions; cook over high heat 8 minutes.
2. Add smoked sausage to pot; cook 5 minutes. Add corn; cook 7 minutes. Add shrimp in shells; cook 4 minutes.
3. Drain cooking liquid. Pour contents of pot into several large bowls, shallow pails or mound on paper covered picnic table. Sprinkle with additional Old Bay© seasoning, if desired.

Prepare this one-pot shrimp fest for easy, summertime entertaining! Shrimp, smoked sausage, potatoes, corn and onions are perfectly seasoned with Old Bay Seasoning.
