Fun Cut Out Grilled Cheese Sandwiches


What You'll Need

cans (10 3/4 ounces eachCampbell's® Condensed Tomato Soup 
cans water 
teaspoons butter, softened 
slices Pepperidge Farm® White Calcium Enriched Sliced Sandwich Bread 
slices American cheese 
Your favorite cookie cutters 

How to Make It

    Heat the soup and water in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat until the mixture is hot and bubbling, stirring occasionally.

    Spread the butter on the bread slices.

    Place 4 bread slices, butter-side down, into a 12-inch skillet. Top with the cheese slices and remaining bread slices, butter-side up. Cook over medium heat until the sandwiches are lightly browned on both sides and the cheese is melted.

    Remove the sandwiches to a cutting board. You can use large cutters to make 4 large cut-out sandwiches, or small cutters to make mini sandwiches, perfect for dunking! Serve with the soup.
Recipe Note: Cookie cutters now come in all shapes and sizes. Go seasonal, with pumpkins for fall and snowmen for winter, or holiday-specific, like hearts for Valentine's Day!
