Hot dogs are split, piled with chili, wrapped in foil, and cooked in a covered skillet or over campfire or grill.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound hot dogs
- 1 can (approx. 16 ounces) chili with beans
- hot dog buns, optional
Preparation:
Split hot dogs lengthwise, not cutting through, to make "boats." Fill with chili. Wrap in foil or place in a covered iron skillet. Heat over campfire or on grill. If desired serve with toasted buns.
