Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding

Ingredients
4 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup regular rice, raw
1 Tablespoon grated orange peel
Dash cinnamon and nutmeg
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a 1-1/2-quart casserole, combine milk, sugar, rice, and orange peel. Mix all ingredients well. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Bake for 3 hours, stirring 3 times during the first hour. Remove from oven. Let cool 2 hours. Pudding will thicken as it cools.
