MY MOTHER GOLDIE [WAS HER NAME] MADE THE BEST COCONUT CAKE! I miss you so much and all your cooking, and baking, without a recipe. Yes, we did have a gas stove in the past, but I learned to cooked on a wood buring stove.
I learned to cook and bake by watching my Mom as a child, at her wood burning stove. She didn't cook or bake anything fancy, but the finished product was oooh so good! She made the best coconut cake, ever!
