HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY TO ALL THOSE WHO SERVED OUR COUNTRY!

Happy Veteran's Day to my Daddy in heaven. [WW2] He was proud to serve his country. How do I know that? Because I spent every week with my Dad for many many years, whether it was VA for checks ups, medical reasons, lunch, or to give him his weekly Sunday baths as he got older; my Grandchildren have memories of helping me with those baths when they could, and our many chats over lunch with me asking him what his life was like as he grew up, and his service to his country. He was 2nd powderman on the ship. In other words he was the 2nd man to load the ammunition, as they did it in an assembly line! 
I'M THINKING OF MY MAN TODAY!

I failed to mention that whenever we were out shopping, and he saw the U.S. flag he would stop dead in his tracks and salute it!
