A special ribs recipe, marinated and broiled the american way served with its tangy barbecue sauce.
Ingredients
| 2 Tbsp | olive oil |
| 2 onions | peeled and thinly sliced |
| 3 cloves | garlic, peeled and crushed or |
| 6 tsp | garlic sauce |
| 75 g | dark muscovado sugar |
| 4 Tbsp | Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce |
| 3 Tbsp | lemon juice |
| 2 Tbsp | soy sauce |
| 1 kilo | American-style pork ribs |

- Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas 6. Heat the oil in a small pan, add the onions and garlic and stir fry for 3-4 minutes or until softened.
- Add the sugar, Worcestershire Sauce, tomato puree, lemon juice and soy sauce and heat gently for 5 minutes.
- Arrange the ribs in a shallow ovenproof dish, season and pour the sauce over them. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes, basting occasionally, until the meat is tender.
