Homemade buns in the South Dakota Badlands -- glad I don't have to use the cook stove in the sod dug out home at the Prairie Homestead -- it would make for quite a challenge to get the temperature right and that 'just right' browness ;}
3 c warm water
2 T + ½ t yeast
¼ c dry milk
1T sugar
Add: 3 beaten eggs
1 t salt
1 1/8 c oil
¾ c clover honey
12 cups bread flour
Bake 12 mins at 405 degrees
Yields: 4 dozen
