Homemade baking mixes are less expensive than the purchased variety, and have fewer artificial ingredients. They're perfect for the frugal cook. And you can feel good knowing you're feeding your family better food for less money.

All of these mixes should be stored tightly covered in a cool, dry place. I have found that large Tupperware containers or large glass jars with screw-on lids work best.
