Better Made Pretzel Jello

1 package Bettermade Pretzel Rods - crushed
1 ½ sticks butter or margarine
3 tbs. sugar
8oz. cream cheese
2 C frozen whipped topping
2/3 C sugar
2 3oz. pkg. Strawberry Gelatin
2 10 oz pkg. frozen strawberries - (drain if in syrup)
2 C Boiling water

Melt margarine or butter mix with 3 tbs. sugar add to crushed pretzels. Press mix into a 9 x 13 glass pan. Bake at 350 for 8 – 10 minutes. Cool completely. Whip cream cheese, 2/3 cup sugar, topping together. Spread over pretzel crust. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. 

Mix gelatin with 2 cup boiling water. Add strawberries. Thicken slightly in fridge. When slightly thickened pour over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate another 2 hours or until set.
