Seven-Layer Salad

Ingredients
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup (125 ml) scallions
- 1 green pepper
- ¾ cup (175 ml) frozen peas, thawed
- ½ cup (125 ml ) mayonnaise mixed with 2 tsp (10 ml) sugar
- ¾ cup (175 ml) cheddar cheese, cubed
- 8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
Instructions
- In a large salad bowl (preferably clear!) arrange in layers as follows: lettuce at the bottom, then scallions, green pepper, frozen peas, mayonnaise and cheddar cheese. Top with bacon.
- Toss only before serving.
