Cookies are meant for afternoon tea with friends. And if you're going to go to the trouble of making your own delicious creations, you might as well be as cute as these tea bag cookies. I've been oggling these cookies on Pinterest for some time now, and the holidays are the perfect time to bust these beauties out.
Unless you want to get really fancy by adding various tea flavors to the cookies, these things are relatively easy to make. Take your standard sugar cookie recipe, form the cookie to look like a tea bag, bake 'em, dip 'em in chocolate, and use some bakers twine and little tags to make the cookies like even more like a real tea bag.
If not for an afternoon tea with friends, these cookies would also make beautiful holiday gifts for your family. You could really class these cookies up by putting them in a decorative box.
