Thai Ginger Marinade


Thai Ginger Marinade

The exotic flavors of this marinade really come to life on grilled chicken and seafood. Be sure to make an extra batch to serve as a dipping sauce.

  • 1/2 cup Lea & Perrins® The Original Worcestershire Sauce
  • tablespoons lemon juice
  • tablespoons vegetable oil
  • tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • teaspoons fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients. Place your favorit e meat or poultry in marinade and turn until well coated. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
  2. Remove meat or poultry from refrigerator, reserving marinade. Grill or broil to desired doneness, basting frequently for first 5 to 10 minutes. Discard any remaining marinade.
Here's a tip: Substitute 2 tsp of fresh ginger with 1/2 tsp of ground ginger. Use freshly squeezed lemon juice, it makes a difference.
