Frank’s Italian Meatloaf with Mustard glaze

Pre-heat oven to 350 degress F
1 lb. ground beef 80% lean
8 ounces of Italian sausage (mild or hot)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup onion finely chopped
1/4 cup green peppers finely chopped
1-1/2 cups oatmeal (quick cooked)
3/4 cup sour cream
2 eggs beaten
1/2 tsp dried sage
1/2 tsp dried thyme (opt.)

1-1/2 cups oatmeal (quick cooked)
3/4 cup sour cream

combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix throughly (10 minutes)
Cover a baking pan with foil,spray with cooking spray and shape the mixture into a loaf (about 4″ wide and 3″ tall)
make a well down the center and cover with the glaze
bake about 1-1/2 hours or until the internal temp is 160 degrees F

1 TBS brown sugar
1/4 tsp cider vinegar
1/2 cup yellow mustard
mix glaze ingredients together set a side
