WHIPPED CREAM ICING FOR RED VELVET CAKE | |
1 c. water
4 tbsp. flour 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 c. shortening 1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla
Cook water, flour and salt to consistency of paste. Cool. Combine remaining ingredients. Beat well until sugar is dissolved. Add paste mixture teaspoon at a time, beating well after each addition. Spread on cake.
