STORY TELLING TIME:
When I was a newly wed I so desperately wanted to make my husband foods that he would love. He told me that Clam Chowder was on his list. I had never eaten a clam before. I came from a family of 8 children and we were raised on simple food. Sure wished my Momma had gone out of her comfort zone on this one.
… story continued: I made the stew and waited patiently for his response of which I wasn't surprized, 'I love it he said'! So, I decided to dig in and came out with a mouth full of grit.
OATH: will never eat another one that isn't cleaned!
