Juicy Roasted Turkey Breast is a quick and easy recipe for a turkey breast. This recipe is ideal for serving smaller families on the holidays.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour, 40 minutes

Yield: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 (4-pound) bone-in, skin-on turkey breast, thawed if frozen
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Place turkey breast, skin side up, on rack in large roasting pan. In small bowl, combine butter, salt, thyme, onion powder, garlic, powder, and pepper and mix well.
Loosen skin from turkey and rub half of the butter mixture on the flesh; smooth skin back over turkey and hold in place with a toothpick. Rub remaining butter mixture over turkey. Pour 1 cup broth into bottom of roasting pan.
Roast turkey for 1-1/2 hours, basting occasionally with pan juices, until the roast registers 160 degrees F on an instant read thermometer. Cover and let stand 10 minutes, then carve to serve.
