HAMBURGER BEAN POT SOUP

HAMBURGER BEAN POT SOUP 
1 c. dried beans
3 qt. water
1 can tomatoes
1 c. diced celery
2 c. chopped carrots
2 c. chopped onion
2 c. diced, peeled potatoes
4 beef bouillon cubes
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. hamburger

Soak beans for 1 hour. Drain and cook for 20 minutes. Stir in all ingredients, except hamburger. Heat to boiling, then simmer 1 hour. Brown hamburger. Add to soup and cook another hour or until beans are tender.
