DEVILED EGGS!

DEVILED EGGS!

Make a bold and beautiful statement at your next party or brunch with a tray of these tempting deviled eggs!
Deviled eggs 3 ways
Six hard-boiled eggs and three small bowls is all you'll need to get started making these beautiful and delicious deviled eggs three ways! Smoked salmon and dill, feta and capers and curried deviled eggs, make for an eye-popping presentation, while wowing them with flavor! These recipes yield one dozen deviled eggs; four of each kind.

* Smoked salmon and dill deviled eggs with caviar recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 teaspoons mayonnaise, heaping
  • 1 teaspoon sour cream, heaping
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 ounce smoked salmon, finely chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Caviar for garnish (if desired)

Directions:

  1. Peel off egg shells and neatly cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks 
  2. and place them into a small bowl and mash the yolks down with the back of a fork.
  3. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, dill, smoked salmon and lemon juice to the yolks and continue mashing with the back of a fork until all ingredients are mixed well and you have a creamy consistency. (If the yolk mixture seems too thick, add additional mayonnaise or sour cream.)
  4. Fill egg whites neatly with the smoked salmon and dill mixture. Top with caviar and serve or 
  5. place in the refrigerator until ready to eat.

* Feta and caper deviled eggs with chives recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 teaspoons mayonnaise, heaping
  • 1 teaspoon sour cream, heaping
  • 2 teaspoons feta cheese, heaping
  • 1/2 teaspoon capers, drained, rinsed and chopped
  • Fresh chives for garnish (if desired)

Directions:

  1. Peel off egg shells and neatly cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks 
  2. and place them into a small bowl and mash the yolks down with the back of a fork.
  3. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, feta cheese and capers to the yolks and continue mashing 
  4. with the back of a fork until all ingredients are mixed well and you have a creamy consistency. 
  5. (If the yolk mixture seems too thick, add additional mayonnaise or sour cream.)
  6. Fill egg whites neatly with the feta and caper mixture. Top with fresh chives and serve or 
  7. place in the refrigerator until ready to eat.

* Curried deviled eggs with grapes recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 teaspoons mayonnaise, heaping
  • 1 teaspoon sour cream, heaping
  • 1/8 teaspoon curry powder, heaping
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin, scant
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery salt, scant
  • Red grape slices for garnish (if desired)

Directions:

  1. Peel off egg shells and neatly cut the eggs in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks 
  2. and place them into a small bowl and mash the yolks down with the back of a fork.
  3. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, curry powder, cumin and celery salt to the yolks and 
  4. continue mashing with the back of a fork until all ingredients are mixed well and you 
  5. have a creamy consistency. (If the yolk mixture seems too thick, add additional 
  6. mayonnaise or sour cream.)
  7. Fill egg whites neatly with the curried yolk mixture. Top with a slice of red grape 
  8. and serve or place in the refrigerator until ready to eat.

TIP

You can either very neatly spoon the yolk mixture into the egg whites or place the yolk mixture into a small, zip-closed bag, clip off a corner of the bag and then pipe the yolk mixture into the eggs. The latter makes for a more elegant presentation.
