I live in the Seattle suburbs, so we are used to gray skies and rain for about nine months of year, followed by three months of blue skies, sunshine and moderately warm temperatures. So imagine our discomfort, when we experienced five consecutive days of 90 degrees plus, with "cooler" days hitting the mid-80s. Few of us have air conditioning so it's hard to escape the heat, unless we decide to spend whole days at the mall.
