Loaded Cauliflower Un-Mac & Cheese Recipe |
Cauliflower takes the place of that carb-laden pasta in this faux version of macaroni and cheese. Cauliflower is a very bland vegetable, almost tasteless, and will take on the flavor of the rich, cheese-y sauce. Bacon and green onions give an extra punch of gusto to make you forget all about pasta. Even cauliflower-haters will enjoy this filling side dish. It''s great for those following a low-carb diet. Have all of your ingredients prepped, and this goes together fairly quickly. |

Apple Squares with Pecans Recipe |
Apples and pecans are the stars of this delicious, moist cake. The recipe makes enough for a crowd, so it is perfect for potluck dinners, parties, and family gatherings. Try substituting your favorite nuts for a variation. Nectarines or firm peaches may also be substituted for the apples. |

Tarragon Chicken Marsala Recipe |
Marsala wine is a common ingredient in sauces for chicken, beef, and pork. Here, the Marsala sauce is enlivened by tarragon, Dijon mustard, and a touch of honey. Chicken thighs are my favorite for this because of their deeper flavor, but check the notes for substitutions. If you are a fan of the light licorice/mint flavor of tarragon, you might want to increase the amount by half, but don't over-do it or you will ruin the dish. |
