Chocolate Elvis hemp smoothie

Elvis would have loved this peanut butter and banana smoothie! It's made with hemp protein powder for a healthy vegan protein boost and cocoa powder for flavor as well as peanut butter and bananas. I find that this healthy hemp smoothie is perfect the way it is, but if you're used to having things a bit sweeter, you may want to add a bit of agave nectar or brown rice syrup to it to sweeten it up a bit.

Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp hemp protein powder
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 banana
- 3-4 ice cubes
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Enjoy your smoothie right away.
Recipe note: Are you following a raw food diet and using all raw ingredients? This smoothie can easily be made raw! Keep it raw by using a raw cocoa powder, a raw nut butter such as almond butter or cashew butter instead of peanut butter, and use and a homemade raw non-dairy milk such as raw almond milk or raw cashew milk. Still delicious as ever!
