Cheddar Onion Biscuits

Cook Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 12 biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 cups all-purpose baking mix
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup (2 oz.) Sargento® Fine Cut Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
Directions
- Cook onion and butter in small skillet over medium heat 9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and golden brown; transfer to medium bowl.
- Add baking mix, milk and cheese to bowl; mix until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of batter onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 425°F oven 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
