What About Canning Pumpkin?

A couple of readers noticed that my post on preserving pumpkin and other winter squash varieties didn't include anything about canning instructions. Here's the deal:
Although it is possible to can pumpkin, you can't do it safely with ready-for-pie puree like the kind you buy at the store. You need to can these foods in chunks instead. I explain why along with these instructions for canning pumpkin and winter squash at home.
