Paleo Buttery Biscuit Recipe
Ingredients
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 3 tbs coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup organic butter – melted
  • 3 eggs – whisked
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbs raw honey
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees-F
  2. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  3. First combine all dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl
  4. Next in a separate small bowl, combine all the wet ingredients together
  5. Now pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl
  6. Mix together – the mixture should be a little sticky, somewhere between a batter and a dough
  7. Get an ice cream or cookie scoop to form the biscuits, and drop each scoop onto the parchment paper
  8. Lightly flatten the top with your hand until they are about 3/4 inch to 1 inch thick
  9. Bake about 15 minutes until the edges are golden – oven cooking times vary so just keep an eye on them
  10. Enjoy warm out of the oven plain, or with your favorite spread or topping!
  11. Makes about 8-9 biscuits
