Double Dare Peaches
Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
2 habanero peppeers, seeded and halved (handle with care)
8 fresh peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1.75 qt vanilla ice cream
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium low heat. Add habanero peppers, and cook 5 to 8 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove and discard the peppers. Stir peaches into flavored butter. Cook and stir on medium high heat until peaches begin to sizzle in the butter. Add brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook until peaches are tender and sugar has turned into a golden brown glaze, 3 to 5 minutes more. Spoon into individual bowls. Scoop ice cream over peaches to serve.
