Cheesy Bean Dip


Cheesy Bean Dip

1 tablespoon margarine
1 large onion, sliced and quartered
1 jar (18 oz.) or 1 can (16 oz.) B&M Original Baked Beans, mashed
8 oz. low sodium Swiss cheese, cubed
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 loaf (16 oz.) French bread, cut into cubes

Directions
In a medium saucepan, melt margarine; add onion and cook until tender. Add beans, cheese and cayenne pepper, stirring until melted and smooth. Serve in warming dish with bread cubes as dippers. 

Microwave Directions 
In a 2-quart microwave-safe dish, microwave margarine on HIGH 30 seconds. Stir in onion; microwave on HIGH 1 minute. Stir in beans, cheese and cayenne pepper. Microwave on HIGH 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes or until melted and smooth. 

Makes 3 1/2 cups dip.
